How to Spot a Fake Shark in a Photo: Some real Southern Fried Science

The Southern Fried Scientist has published a really informative and fun guide to spotting doctored photographs with sharks (or other fish) in them.

Please, friends, allow Beel to present one photograph from their guide.  You should check out their original post for more.

The top image is, supposedly, a shark swimming in a flooded street in Puerto Rico.  The bottom image shows that same shark in a different photograph.  All it takes is Photoshop and a desire to punk the public.

The Southern Fried Scientist explains all of this- and more- nicely.  Enjoy, says Beel!
